Off the Grid is Bringing the Bay Together on Treasure Island
Published on October 3, 2025
Since launching in September, Off the Grid at Treasure Island has quickly become one of the Bay Area’s most talked-about weekend gatherings. Each Saturday, Cityside Park transforms into a waterfront foodie festival with 15+ food trucks, curated cocktails, and live DJS, all set against panoramic tri-bridge views and the San Francisco skyline.

With local flavors, music, and wide-open lawns filling San Francisco’s newest waterfront park, Off the Grid at Treasure Island delivers an only-in-San-Francisco experience. Guests lounge on the grass, sip cocktails under the sun, and wander between food trucks—all just an 8-minute ferry ride from downtown. For many, the event has already become a new weekend tradition.

“Family friendly vibe (including so many cute dogs)…and lots of dancing to the beats from the most FUN DJs I’ve ever seen. Fresh air + good laughs + great food = perfection.” — Yelp Reviewer
“There was no shortage of food vendors to choose from…Asian BBQ, Italian bites, pastries, crispy chicken & veggie potstickers, beer and cocktails. With entertaining live music, good eats, a safe and friendly environment, and free admission, this was a great experience altogether.” — Yelp Reviewer
And the buzz is spreading beyond the Island. Secret San Francisco highlighted the series, quoting Off the Grid CEO Matt Cohen: “We are thrilled to bring Off the Grid to Treasure Island…a rare opportunity to introduce a new neighborhood to the Bay Area.”

Don’t Miss Your Chance
Off the Grid continues every Saturday from 11AM to 4PM through November 1. Come for the food, stay for the music, and close out fall with the kind of Bay views that make Treasure Island unforgettable.
