Fall Fun at Treasure Island’s Harvest Festival & Pumpkin Patch
Published on September 30, 2025
With pumpkins, hay bales, and seasonal treats, there’s no mistaking that fall has arrived on Treasure Island. On Sunday, October 5, the newly opened Cityside Park will host the Harvest Festival & Pumpkin Patch, a family-friendly day filled with festive activities and plenty of autumn charm.
From 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, the park transforms into a seasonal celebration, featuring pumpkins for sale, a hay bale pyramid, bounce houses, and an adorable petting zoo. Kids can play, parents can relax against the backdrop of San Francisco’s skyline, and everyone can enjoy live music and capture picture-perfect moments among the pumpkins.
This year’s festival also has a purpose: proceeds from every pumpkin sold will benefit GLIDE, the San Francisco nonprofit organization known for its work supporting families and communities in need. It’s a chance to bring home your hand-picked pumpkin while giving back to the city at the same time.
Food and drink round out the day. Silverwings Coffee will be on hand with coffee, matcha, and hot chocolate, while sweet treats from Johnny Doughnuts and nonalcoholic festive drinks keep the whole family fueled for fun. With the Bay Bridge rising behind the pumpkins, it’s a fall outing unlike any other in the city.
The Harvest Festival & Pumpkin Patch is free to attend. While parking is limited on the Island, getting here is easy. We encourage you to take the Treasure Island ferry, with $5 adult one way fares and free rides for children under 5. Ferry tickets are available at TISF.com/Ferry.
Make October 5 your family’s favorite new fall tradition—an afternoon of pumpkins, play, and panoramic views on Treasure Island.
