An executive for the team was at the grocery store and happened to come across the bright gold bottles sitting on the distillery’s sample table, instantly envisioning them as the perfect fit for the 49ers’ red and gold.

Since then, Gold Bar has served the fandom well as the 49ers’ official whiskey, with many fans even buying bottles for display rather than drinking. This Sunday, Gold Bar and 49ers fans will be cheering on their team together at the city’s most exciting Big Game watch party happening at Gold Bar’s tasting room.

Join fellow 49ers fans on Treasure Island to catch the Big Game on a 17’ outdoor screen with panoramic views of the San Francisco skyline and an even bigger screen inside.
