The First Residents Move In at Isle House on Treasure Island
Published on November 19, 2024
Home sweet home—residents are settling in at Isle House, the first new waterfront residential tower completed on Treasure Island. The 22-story high-rise designed by David Baker Architects features 250 studio, two- and three-bedroom apartments for lease, plus nine two-level, live-work townhomes with private entries. Isle House residents enjoy sweeping 360-degree views of the Bay, Bay Bridge, Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco skyline, as well as an array of private amenities.
“The idea is that Isle House is an absolute expression of San Francisco, but it’s super dialed into being part of the bay,” said Chris Meany, Managing Partner at Wilson Meany, the co-developer of Isle House along with Stockbridge Capital Group. “That killer view of Golden Gate Bridge—anybody who gets off of the elevator, that is yours,” he recently told the San Francisco Chronicle.
One new resident, Eric Dasmalchi, told the Chronicle how he watches the ferries, cruise boats, and cargo ships crisscross the Bay from his apartment. Having relocated from Los Angeles for his work as a state transportation planner, he gets around the city by ferry and bike. “In the morning, I check to see how much of the downtown skyline I can see and whether the Golden Gate Bridge is visible,” Dasmalchi said. “In the evening, the wind whips up the water, and there is a sense of drama.”
The residences of Isle House showcase modern lines, designer appliances, and natural tones, while open-concept floor plans feature oversized windows framing the views. Amenities were designed for both engaging and unplugging, including a rooftop terrace, co-working space, open-air lounge, fitness studio, wellness lounge, yoga studio, onsite pet spa, and a seventh-floor retreat with a fireside lounge, library lounge, bar, and den. Residents enjoy a 24-hour attended lobby, residential programming, secured covered bike storage and electric car charging stations.
Isle House is the newest residential community on Treasure Island. The Master Developer is Treasure Island Community Development (TICD), a partnership between Wilson Meany, Stockbridge Capital Group, and Lennar Corporation, which began transforming the island into a vibrant, sustainable, and connected waterfront community. When completed, this transformation will feature 8,000 new homes, 300 acres of new parks, trails, and open space, and a vibrant mix of restaurants, shops, and cultural attractions set amidst stunning views of downtown San Francisco, Angel Island, Alcatraz, the Golden Gate Bridge, Marin Headlands, Yerba Buena Island, Point of Infinity and the Bay Bridge.
